A member of the 1994 silver medal Canadian Olympic team and CMG Sports president, Allain Roy serves as the personal representative of clients, responsible for enhancing their professional careers as well as their life after professional sports.
A graduate of Harvard University, Allain was the goalie of Harvard's NCAA National Championship team (1988-89), a member of the 1988-89 NCAA All-Tournament Team, an All-American finalist (1991-92) and a member of the 1993 World Championship Team. A 1989 fourth round draft pick of the Winnipeg Jets, Allain had a brief NHL callup in 1993 before joining the Canadian Olympic team. He played for Jokerit, the Finnish Elite Champions, the Saginaw Wheels and the Kapfenberg Tigers (Austrian League). He had a career .904 save percentage.
After leaving hockey, Allain became president of Crimson Marketing and Management Group, the parent company of eGroupManager, Gateway Medicard, LLC, and CMG Sports. From '97 to '99 Allain served as VP of Operations for the St. Louis Vipers In-Line Hockey Club, the 1999 RHI Champions.
A native of Campbellton, New Brunswick, Allain is fluent in both French and English. He resides in St.Louis, MO with his son Phillipe and daughter Jordanne.
Allain has used a combination of his extensive business and hockey knowledge to make CMG Sports into one of the most forward thinking and fast growing agencies in the hockey world.
As a NHLPA certified agent, Allain has negotiated a hundreds of contracts at all league levels. As a family advisor, Allain has also assisted many families in determining individual clients' optimal route in hockey, and life.

An Ottawa native and fluently bilingual, Jody has been playing and coaching competitive hockey for over 30 years. Jody played tier II Junior A for the Nepean Raiders prior to playing in the OHL for the Oshawa Generals. While pursuing a degree in Business Administration at St. Francis Xavier University in Nova Scotia, Jody was recruited to play varsity hockey for the X-Men. Upon graduating, Jody joined the Toronto-based sport representation and marketing company Burris Neiman and Associates, where he quickly solidified himself as one of the firm’s top performers and gained a reputation for his keen sense of entrepreneurship.
As COO, Jody is responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of CMG’s sales, marketing and consultancy sports management services. His excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills allow him to oversee the successful execution of business strategies for products and services offered by CMG. His extensive experience in budgeting, sales, and business development further permit him to direct and participate in acquisition and growth activities to support the overall business objectives and plans of the organization.
For the past five years, Jody has volunteered his time as a coach in the Ottawa and Nepean Girls & Boys Hockey Associations. He is also the founder of the Maplesoft Hawks, a boys and girls AAA hockey organization, a unique program that gives back to the community by covering the cost of uniforms and team insurance for all participants (www.maplesofthawks.com). In his personal time, Jody enjoys boating, golfing and travelling with his wife and six children.

Dennis Polonich has dedicated his life to hockey, spending 28 years playing and coaching at both professional and junior levels.
Dennis was drafted in 1973 by the Detroit Red Wings and spent three of his eight seasons with the team as its captain. He was also a member of the Turner Cup champion Muskegon Lumberjacks and the Calder Cup champion Adirondack Red Wings in addition to his memorable career with the Detroit Red Wings.
As for his exploits off the ice, Dennis was General Manager of the Prince George Cougars and the Medicine Hat Tigers of the Western Hockey League, where he also served as interim head coach. Several of the players that Dennis managed and coached went on to become high profile NHLers. He added an SJHL championship to his many accomplishments when he coached the Yorkton Terriers of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League. Three of his players went on to be drafted by the NHL and 15 of them received NCAA scholarships.
After several years as a captain, GM, coach and mentor, Dennis has spent recent years as a certified NHPLA player representative, helping young athletes develop successful professional hockey careers. Dennis resides in Calgary with his wife Angie, his daughter Lauren, and Jade, a varsity member of the University of Mississippi's volleyball and golf teams.

Hollis has spent the last 20 years coaching, playing and scouting at the university and the junior levels.
Hollis played one year at the University of New Brunswick (1990-91) and two years at the Université de Moncton (87-89), and won the A.S.I.A Conference in '88-'89.
After graduating from the University of New Brunswick with a degree in Physical Education, Hollis began coaching in 1991. He coached New Brunswick's Provincial Under 16 & 17 Men's Teams, in the program of Excellence for four years. In 1991, Hollis was coach of New Brunswick's Under 18 Women's Team, which participated at the 1999 Canada Winter Games. He has also worked as a scout for several teams form the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. In 1998, he was an Assistant Coach for the Acadie-Bathurst Titans of the QMJHL.
A native of Lorne, New Brunswick, Hollis is Fluent in both English and French. Hollis resides in Petit-Rocher, New Brunswick with his wife Linda and two girls, Elissa and Jolyane.

Player Relations
Shane has scouted at the minor pro level, WHL level and coached and recruited at the Junior A level. He has been a part of a Western Hockey League Championship, an Alberta Junior Hockey League Championship and a Northern Ontario Junior 'A' Hockey League Championship. Origininally from Ontario where he played his minor and Junior A hockey, Shane also has lived in New Brunswick where he played four years of university hockey (CIAU). After his third season at St. Thomas, where he was an all-star and team MVP, he earned a free agent tryout contract with the Quebec Nordiques of the National Hockey League.
His list of contacts and relationships in professional hockey in North America and Europe is extensive and he has been supporting players with their professional aspirations in both markets. In the past year alone with Shane's support more than 10 of his players with origins throughout North America have signed NHL contracts. Shane also has years of experience coaching at hockey schools and working with minor hockey players.
Shane has a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education from St. Thomas University and a Masters of Education from the University of Lethbridge. Shane currently resides in Salmon Arm, British Columbia with his wife Tammy and two daughters, Taylor and Makenna.

A former ice hockey head coach at the NCAA and high school levels, Hutton comes to CMG from Lebanon Valley College in Annville, P.A., where he served as the head coach of the ECAC West team from 2005-07. Hutton's primary responsibilities with LVC included developing technical reports on NCAA hockey, preparing the team's off-season conditioning program, recruiting student-athletes, developing team enhancement programs and fundraisers, advanced scouting, and game tape review, breakdown, analysis, and transfer to digital formats. On the ice, Hutton had many duties including organizing and conducting team practices and implementing team systems and game plans.
Over the last two years, Hutton's primary responsibilities with CMG have included scouting, recruiting, contract negotiations, research, and maintaining client relationships. He has also worked closely with CMG summer camps in Canada and the St. Louis area. Hutton has also utilized his NCAA experience as a family advisor, assisting families in determining individual clients' optimal route in college, hockey, and life.
Away from the ice, Hutton graduated from St. Joseph's (N.Y.) College with a degree in organizational management and earned an MBA from Long Island University-C.W. Post. He was an adjunct professor in business administration at St. Joseph's and at Briarcliffe College from 2003-05. Hutton played his college hockey at Farmingdale State University, where he served as team captain from 1995-1997.

Tom has been involved in hockey for over 50 years having played, coached, and scouted. His minor and school hockey was played in the New Glasgow, Nova Scotia area. He also played in the APC Jr. A League (Anitgonish, Pictou, Cholchester). He has scouted for Victoriaville, Rouyn Noranda, and Baie Comeau in the QMJHL. As well, he was the Head Scout for the Halifax Wolverines and the Yarmouth Mariners, who won the Kent Cup 2007/2008 of the Maritime Junior A Hockey League. Tom also does work for Hockey Nova Scotia in the selection of U/15 and U/16 at the Esso Bantam AAA Tournament in Halifax; a tournament that he has scouted for the past 12 years. Tom covers the Atlantic Provinces searching for talented hockey players from University, Major Jr., Jr. A, Major Midget AAA and Bantam AAA.
Tom is retired from the Royal Canadian Navy after 25 years where he played and coached various military teams having won championships in Intermediate and Senior leagues. Tom scouts hundreds of games throughout the year and is very involved with all associations in the Atlantic Provinces. He resides in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia with wife, Lea and has two sons, Tom Jr. and Gary, along with five grandchildren.

Before entering the agency business, Marc Lavigne spent ten years coaching, receiving degrees in levels from midget to junior. Marc was a founder of an expansion Midget AAA team in Chateauguay, where he acted as V-P of Hockey for three years. In the first year of Marc’s Midget AAA team, they won the Provincial Championship and represented Quebec at the Telus Cup.
Marc attended Loyola High School, Champlain College, and McGill. In 2003, he became the youngest municipal in the history of his city. Marc is married to Sonya Leduc and has a twenty one year old son who is a strength coach.

Ron is an avid marathoner and triathlete. He ran the Boston Marathon in 2006 and 2007.
Prior to joining the Maplesoft Group, Ron was a partner at a Bay Street law firm in Toronto, Ontario, where he assisted clients with a broad range of business matters, including business start-ups, mergers and acquisitions and the negotiation and drafting of various commercial agreements. Ron also has experience with public and private financings and working with entrepreneurs and private companies at all stages of business development. Ron’s background allows him to provide an educated insight into the business of athletic representation. With his business acumen and legal knowledge, Ron has taken a significant role in building CMG’s NHL clientele.
Ron graduated from the University of Guelph in 1997 with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) and earned his LL.B. designation from the University of Ottawa in 2001.
In his personal time, Ron enjoys spending time with his daughter, Shaughnessey, running, cycling and playing golf. Ron is also active in the community with The Sky’s the Limit Youth Organization, where he acts as a director and legal counsel.

Peter has coached for over 20 years. He has scouted at the prep school and junior levels for the last 6 years and has coached at the college level for 7 years. While coaching college Peter won 3 league championships and made 5 national tournament appearances. His prep school teams have won league campionships and made it to the prestigious final four. His experience in recognizing and developing talented players has been a cornerstone of his success. He joins CMG with a vast knowledge of US Junior, Prep and NCAA hockey.
