A former ice hockey head coach at the NCAA, college club, and high school levels, Hutton comes to CMG from Lebanon Valley College in Annville, P.A., where he served as the head coach of the ECAC West team from 2005-07. Hutton's primary responsibilities with LVC included developing technical reports on NCAA hockey, preparing the team's off-season conditioning program, recruiting student-athletes, developing team enhancement programs and fundraisers, advanced scouting, and game tape review, breakdown, analysis, and transfer to digital formats. On the ice, Hutton had many duties including organizing and conducting team practices and implementing team systems and game plans.
Hutton's primary responsibilities with CMG include scouting, recruiting, contract negotiations, research, and maintaining client relationships. He will also work closely with CMG summer camps in Canada and the St. Louis area. Hutton will also utilize his NCAA experience as a family advisor, assisting families in determining individual clients' optimal route in college, hockey, and life.
Away from the ice, Hutton graduated from St. Joseph's (N.Y.)
College with a degree in organizational management and earned an MBA from Long
Island University-C.W. Post. He was an adjunct professor in business administration
at St. Joseph's and at Briarcliffe College from 2003-05. Hutton played his college
hockey at Farmingdale State University, where he served as team captain from
1995-1997.
